  They managed to bottle an elegant orange blossom with sparkling neroli, jasmine, and a majestic woody base, all softened by a touch of sweet amber. At first, it smells of mandarin, but that’s not the star. It reminds me a bit of YSL’s Libre, though it’s not a clone; this one is fresher and more wearable in warm climates. The bottle is gorgeous, with a decorative cap and good quality. It’s not a new scent for me, but I love that it’s both subtle and imposing at the same time, and the price is unbeatable.

  I bought it blind to give as a gift; the initial scent is very strong, undefined, like a heavy and firm hit. Then it settles into a sweet, woody blend of orange blossom and blackcurrants on the skin. It’s for those who like powerful aromas, but it gave me a headache.

  Hera is the perfect clone of YSL’s Libre (original), so if you’re looking to save money, this is the best option. Personally, Libre doesn’t really suit me; it’s not my type of perfume. Hera has excellent projection and longevity. The bottle isn’t my style. It’s a floral, citrus, and musky fragrance, perfect for day and night during hot weather. The notes I notice most are: bitter orange blossom (not my favorite), jasmine, mandarin, and musk.

  Hera is the ‘dupe’ of the original Yves Saint Laurent Libre, so if you want to save money, this is the best option. Personally, I don’t like Libre much; it’s not a perfume I’d buy. Hera has excellent projection and longevity. The packaging isn’t my favorite. It’s a floral, citrus, and musky fragrance, ideal for day and night only in hot weather.
