Have you worn Floral Profumo?

Tell us how it opens, how it settles on your skin, how long it lasts and when you wear it.

  1. It smells like a clean, refined floral: softly talcum-powdered jasmine wrapped in musk and subtle iris. That herbal touch comes from the Rangoon vine, paired with nard that lends a simple, effortless elegance. It’s a fragrance where less is more—very 80s Carolina Herrera style—that invites you to wear it with 500-thread-count sheets.

This perfume smells like a clean, refined floral: a softly talcum-powdered jasmine wrapped in musk and subtle iris. I imagine that herbal nuance comes from the Rangoon vine, accompanied by nard that brings an elegant, effortless simplicity. It’s a fragrance where less is more—those that evoke an ’88 Carolina Herrera—and that inevitably invites you to pair it with crisp 500-thread-count sheets.

I’ve never smelled the original, but I’m sure it was beautiful. It reminds me of my beloved Petra, which opened me up to flowers, especially nard. Here, like in Petra, the nard enhances the jasmine (that’s why I bought it for the jasmine; if I don’t like it, I won’t lose much at this price), making it creamy, elegant, and gentle. At 35, I’ve finally come to love florals, though I still haven’t quite warmed up to geranium. I’m enjoying this renaissance of nard: white florals with a yellowish tint thanks to the nard, nothing invasive, green, clean, and fresh—perfect for spring, summer, and even fall. For the price, it’s unbeatable.

I never tried the original, but it was surely beautiful. I’m talking about my beloved Petra, the one that taught me to love flowers, especially nard. Here, in ‘Floral’, the nard does magic with the other notes, enhancing and embracing them. I love them because they highlight my favorite jasmine (that’s why I felt confident buying it at this price; if I don’t like it, I lose nothing). Like in Petra, the coconut here makes it creamy, elegant, and gentle. At 35, I’ve reached my floral phase, though geranium still takes a bit of getting used to, but for now I’m enjoying this nard renaissance. Buy blind if you like white florals with a yellowish nard touch: it’s clean, fresh, not invasive, and perfect for spring, summer, and even fall. How beautiful it must be in autumn! And the price is unbeatable.
