Finally managed to grab this 50ml bottle of the discontinued Fendi because of my obsession with collecting every scent the brand ever made. After reading MarcusRS’s review, I just couldn’t resist. Upon spraying, it opens with woody citrus notes, a subtle touch of leather, and green tea. I’ve smelled something similar before, and the similarities make me think it’s a bit like Eau de Gaga. It’s very pleasant, though it doesn’t project much; perfect for hot weather, but I think it would work well in other seasons too.

I picked up a 50ml bottle of this discontinued scent in my quest to collect as many Fendi perfumes as possible, and based on MarcusRS’s review, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Upon atomizing it, I perceive woody citrus over a subtle leather accented with green tea. It’s a scent I’m sure I’ve smelled before, and upon noticing the similarities with other fragrances, it reminds me a bit of Eau de Gaga. The smell is very pleasant, though it doesn’t project much; ideal for warm climates, but I don’t think it would clash in other seasons.

  3. A few weeks ago, I spotted this Fendi for Men in a display case. I didn’t know it existed and thought it looked so rare and exotic that I bought it blind… and it was definitely the best blind buy I’ve ever made! Fendi has earned its place in the perfume world, thanks to classics like Fendi Uomo, that wonderful floral leather, or Theorema, one of the most beautiful herbals I’ve ever encountered, or even the underrated Fan di Fendi with its warm, boozy notes. Fendi always wraps you in something very refined. According to Fragrantica, it’s an aromatic woody. Upon spraying, it smells of angelica with citrusy pepper and a very polished leather note that blends well with a modern oakmoss accord. From there, violet root emerges, with an acidic note that throughout the perfume’s life combines with tea and jasmine; patchouli vibrates at the base, adding just the right amount. It seems built on an undisclosed sweet white cedar. Overall, aside from the first impression, it’s very beautiful and refined. At times, this floral-acidic blend touches on unisex territory with great vibes, but at others, it skims the line of being generic, leaning toward Mugler Cologne or Eau du Matin by J.P. Gaultier, before finally escaping with class. The best part is its longevity: it always projects an elegant aura where the violet reminds me of Gucci Pour Homme 2, but it’s much longer-lasting and more present. It’s a must-have if you like fragrances in the style of Gucci Pour Homme II. Excellent longevity, moderate-to-low projection but always present, a real compliment getter. Very hard to find since it was only produced for two years; if you see it, don’t hesitate.

  4. A few weeks ago, I spotted this Fendi for Men in a display case. I didn’t know it existed and thought it looked so rare and exotic that I bought it blind. Without a doubt, it’s the best blind buy I’ve ever made. Fendi has earned its place in the industry, thanks to classics like Fendi Uomo, that wonderful floral leather, or Theorema, one of the most beautiful herbals I know, or the underrated Fan di Fendi with its warm, boozy notes. Fendi for Men is, according to Fragrantica, an aromatic woody. Upon spraying, it smells of angelica with citrusy pepper and a robust pillar of refined leather that blends well with a modern oakmoss accord. From there, violet root emerges, with an acidic note that throughout the perfume’s life is crowned with tea and jasmine; patchouli vibrates from the base, adding just the right amount to this round, well-constructed fragrance, which seems built on an undisclosed sweet white cedar. The whole thing, aside from its best note, is very beautiful and refined; at times, this suede floral-acidic blend touches on unisex territory with great vibes, but at other times it skims the edge of being generic and steps into the realm of Mugler Cologne or Eau du Matin by J.P. Gaultier, before finally escaping with great class. The best part is its great longevity, which always maintains an elegant and refined aura, where the violet reminds me at times of Gucci Pour Homme 2, but being much longer-lasting and more present. Fendi for Men is perfect for all four seasons, works for day and night, and is a must-have if you like fragrances in the style of Gucci Pour Homme II. Excellent longevity with moderate-to-low projection, but always present, a real compliment getter. Very hard to find since it was only produced for two years; if you see it, don’t hesitate.
