If you love Belle-style perfumes with very distinct notes—watery, vanilla, spicy, and super sweet—this is for you. It’s not a dupe for Belle, but it’s in the same style. On my skin, Aurora left a great trail and has excellent longevity.
It’s almost the most childish version of Beyond. Imagine the girl who wears Far Away Beyond but at 13 years old. It’s so young that, as an adult fragrance, it just doesn’t work for me. It smells like you put milk candies on top of them.
Honestly, seeing it in the catalog didn’t do anything for me, but I ordered a sample just in case. It’s sweet but smells like things I already know—lacks personality and just didn’t grab me. I don’t see myself keeping it in my collection. The yogurt note is creamy and vanilla-like, though many say it smells identical to the original Far Away; I don’t get that at all—it feels less compelling to me. I’ll admit the original Far Away, even if it’s not my favorite, stands out in the Avon line; it’s cult-classic status, which is why people keep asking for it. Definitely not a blind buy: if you have the chance, grab a sample and form your own opinion. The truth is, I doubt it will become my favorite in the Far Away family. One more thing: on my skin, it didn’t last long and had zero projection. I’m passing.
