  • I’m the first to review this perfume; I’ll say I absolutely love Dark Delizia, and it remains in my top spot. To me, it smells more feminine; it feels like salted chocolate cookies. The citrus is what makes it not so sweet… I see it as very gourmet; I don’t feel it’s a bomb like Dark Delizia; this one is more relaxed. It reminds me a bit of Greedy chocolate and also of Cremax cookies sold in Mexico, which is exactly what it smells like when you open the bag. I’d buy it again. It’s not very expensive. I prefer Dark Delizia a thousand times; that one is truly a beast. This one takes the step back.

  • I’m the first to review this perfume and I absolutely love Dark Delizia, which remains my favorite. This one smells more feminine, like salted chocolate cookies; the citrus makes it less sweet, and I see it as more gourmet and relaxed, not a bomb like the previous one. It reminds me of Greedy chocolate and Mexican Cremax cookies right when you open the bag. I’d buy it again; it’s not very expensive, though I’d choose Dark Delizia a thousand times over—it’s an absolute beast. This one takes the step back.

  • This is unreal: right out of the bottle, it smells like a traditional dulce de leche called ‘Gloria de Linares,’ then incredible nut notes emerge—the DNA of Dark Delizia with more punch and vanilla. Projection and longevity are classic Calaj: amazing, though slightly less than its sibling, yet they last 24 hours and linger on clothes even after washing. I’ve worn it twice and everyone told me it smelled delicious, even from afar. In a pharmacy, some ladies asked if it was trash mixed with snow… It’s not elegant, but a pleasant scent that gives confidence. Buy blind if you like this style. Projection, trail, and longevity 10/10, scent 9/10. Recommendation: max 2 sprays, half on the neck and half on the arms.

  • Love at first sniff. I met this new Calaj fragrance with high expectations, and far from disappointing, I absolutely adore it. Upon application, it’s a BOOM that explodes right in your face; if you know Amouage’s Opus XIV, you’ll understand how it expands like an atomic bomb. It’s dark chocolate with spectacular hazelnut and salted caramel cookie. It’s not cloying, but a dry sweet with a touch of incense-like tobacco. I like it better than its predecessor because it’s less sweet. Even though I’m not a gourmand fan, this is a work of art. Scent and projection 10, trail 10, value 8. Its only downside is the price, but it’s worth its weight in gold for being so under-the-radar. Don’t buy blindly; it’s not your typical sugary sweet. EDIT: After showers and sleeping, it’s still tattooed on my skin. BOOM 24h++

  • Love at first sniff. Today I had the pleasure of meeting this new Calaj fragrance; I had high expectations, which sometimes lead to disappointment, but this is definitely not the case. This is exquisite… Upon spraying, it’s a BOOM that explodes all over your face. If you know Amouage’s Opus XIV, you’ll understand what I mean; this expands through the air like an atomic bomb. A delicious aroma where you can taste the chocolate—a dark/black chocolate, spectacular hazelnut, and a waffle/cookie with salted caramel. Few scents have this typical hazelnut aroma found in chocolate creams, but it’s by no means cloying; it’s a dark sweet with a dry, incense-like tobacco touch. As its name suggests, Dark Delizia, it resembles its predecessor without a doubt, but I like this one more; for me, it’s less sweet, and I love that. I’m not a gourmand fan, but you have to admit this is a work of art. Scent 10, Projection 10 (irreality beast), Trail 10, Value 8. Without a doubt, its only handicap is the price, but you pay it and feel better than a bush. Wearing a perfume few know is worth its price in gold. DO NOT buy blindly. It’s not the typical sugary gourmand. EDIT: After applying just one spray to my wrist, then another fragrance in the afternoon, going through two showers and a night of sleep… the fragrance is still tattooed on my skin. BOOM 24h++
