I love it, smells super delicious 🙂
A few days ago, a delicious smell arrived at my house: cupcakes, cookies, sweets. Everyone was excited to figure out where that rich aroma was coming from—did they bring cake? Did they start baking? We were disappointed to discover someone had found my body spray and decided to perfume the house with it. So in the air, it smells delicious like cupcakes and decadent cakes; on the skin, I remembered why I stopped using it: nothing memorable, a very sweet scent that sometimes reminds me of grape Kool-Aid powder. The curious thing is that on the skin it fades quickly, but when sprayed into the air, it lasts quite a while.
It really smells like cotton candy right at the moment they make it at the fair; it’s delicious and not as cloying as you’d expect. Cons: it fades on the skin, doesn’t last even half an hour, creates no sillage—it’s a poorly formulated spray in that regard, though the aroma is delicious. It serves its purpose as a room freshener and is budget-friendly.
The first spray wiped away all my prejudices against this body. I thought it would be just as synthetic as the vanilla one, but it turned out to be an exquisite gourmand. As the previous comment said: it’s like they’re making cotton candy right in front of you. Right now there’s a fair in my city with giant cotton candies; when I smelled Cotton Candy, I was transported to the fair surrounded by those huge clouds. To be honest, it’s one of the most authentic gourmand bodys I’ve tried. It’s authentic because it doesn’t try to pretend to be something it’s not; it’s exactly what it says it is. At first, it smelled like raspberry gum, tempting, then it evolved into juicy caramelized strawberry, opened a path of cane sugar, led to vanilla, and finally to the star of the show: cotton candy. I felt like a little girl, warm, cheerful, adorable, and loved. It seems like with just two sprays, I could turn back the clock. Accessible price, though I had trouble finding it ($65 MXN). Surprisingly, it has huge sillage on the skin; once I put it on, the whole room filled with that delicious aroma. An explosion of cotton candy. Moderate longevity, contrary to what I expected. Scent: 9.5/10, Sillage: 10/10, Longevity: 8/10.
The first spray wiped away all my prejudices about this body mist. I thought it would be just as synthetic as the vanilla one, but it turned out to be an exquisite gourmand. As the previous comment said: It’s like they’re making cotton candy right in front of you. There’s a fair in my city right now where they make giant cotton candies, almost my size. When I smelled Cotton Candy, it was like being transported to the fair and surrounded by those huge mounds. To be honest, it’s one of the most authentic gourmand body mists I’ve tried. Authentic in the sense that it doesn’t try to fake an aroma it doesn’t have; it’s exactly what it says it is. At first, it smelled like raspberry bubblegum, strangely craveable. Then it evolved into a juicy caramelized strawberry that opened a path of sugarcane leading finally to vanilla and the star of the show, the cotton candy. I feel like a little girl when I wear this body mist, so warm, so cheerful, adorable, and loved. It seems like with just a couple of sprays I could move the clock hands backward. Affordable price, though it was hard to find in my city ($65 MXN). Amazingly, it has a huge sillage on my skin. I sprayed it once and the whole room filled with such a delicious aroma. An explosion of cotton candy. The longevity is moderate, contrary to what I expected. ♡Scent: 9.5/10 ♡Sillage: 10/10 ♡Longevity: 8/10
Pure cotton candy! It smells at maximum power, but very synthetic, cloyingly sweet, and with no evolution. I see it as very simple, ideal for a little girl or a young teen just starting with perfumes. Plus, it comes in a plastic bottle. Use it on cold days; in the heat, it’s annoying. It’s informal and childish, a mistake to wear it to important events. It reminds me of a costume party or an afternoon at the fair. I didn’t know it was a niche brand; personally, it’s the only one from this line I found acceptable. The others smell bad—I hate synthetic scents, they make me nauseous, and they smell cheap. Super easy to find and cost less than $4.
Cotton Candy! It smells like cotton candy at maximum power, but very synthetic, cloyingly sweet, with no evolution. I consider it very simple, ideal for a little girl or young teen just starting to use perfumes. Besides its packaging, which is a plastic bottle. Regarding its use, I recommend using it on cold days; in the heat it can be bothersome. Very informal and childish, it would be a mistake to use it at an important event. Smelling it brings to mind a costume party or an afternoon at the fair… I didn’t know it was a niche brand; personally, it’s the only fragrance from this line I found somewhat acceptable, the others mostly smell bad. I don’t like synthetic scents; they give me nausea, besides they smell very much like what they are: cheap. Very easy to find, they cost less than $4.00 USD.
Incredibly synthetic and very sweet, yet super addictive, at least for me since I’m a fan of sweet and gourmand scents. It’s true that it smells exactly like they’re making cotton candy at a fair. Unlike Pink Sugar, this is 100% cotton candy from start to finish.
So sweet it made me dizzy; it smells like cotton candy but for some reason smelled super minty to me, and that combination just turned me off. It has no sillage and disappears incredibly fast.
I’ve been looking for this for a while, and today it showed up at Walmart for 80 pesos, so of course I bought it! The opening smells like grape, not as much like cotton candy as others say, but as it dries, it smells like raspberry Kool-Aid with lots of sugar. I don’t get the strong cotton candy scent everyone mentions; instead, I smell sugar mixed with raspberry, which is delicious. I only sprayed it twice, so I’m not expecting much, but I get little bursts of scent and I’m happy to have it. Sweet and tasty, I recommend it.
I’d been looking for it for a while until it finally showed up at Walmart!! 80 Mexican pesos, obviously I had to buy it. The opening smells like grape, not cotton candy as everyone mentions here. The dry down reminds me of a raspberry Kool-Aid with lots of sugar. I don’t detect as much cotton candy scent as everyone else mentions, but rather a mix of sugar and raspberry which I find very delicious. I only sprayed it twice so I can’t expect much since it’s a body mist, but I get little bursts of the scent and I’m glad to have it. Sweet and delicious, I recommend it.
It’s a lovely body mist. It starts with a slightly artificial grape note, then shifts to burnt sugar (though that lasts only a bit), and ends up like cotton candy with a grape gum twist. I absolutely love it—it’s not overpowering, it brings me joy to wear, and it’s super affordable at Bodega Au or Walmart for around 85 pesos. It lasts well for its type, doesn’t project much (which is why I like reapplying it), but it’s a hit.
It’s a very nice body mist. The opening is like a somewhat synthetic grape, then it turns into a burnt sugar scent but it lasts very short, leaving finally a cotton candy scent with grape bubblegum. I like it a lot, it’s not invasive, it makes me happy to use it, plus it’s very economical at Bodega Au/Walmart, approx $85. It lasts well for a body mist, doesn’t project much for that reason, but I like reapplying it.
Honestly, I don’t know where they get the “cotton candy” scent from; personally, it seems similar to grape, or at best, between bubblegum and grape syrup. I’m not saying it smells bad, however, it’s a scent that doesn’t surprise me at all. Despite its low cost, it’s not something I’d buy again. I’ve smelled body mists with much better longevity, projection, and aroma than this one.
Oh no, I love other scents from this line but I can’t stand this one. I like sweets, but this doesn’t smell like cotton candy at all; it smells like grape, very grape, as if the bottle were purple. Then the candy part is that sticky sugar that smells old, I don’t know how to explain it, that cloying sugar that isn’t delicious or gourmand, too artificial and pungent that you want to wash it off. I love sweets, but this smells very cheap to me, like made-up sugar, like Push Pop or something, but not delicious. Then the worst part is I found a smell like rot, like sour, not for me it’s a hard no, it would be like a hard rotten grape caramel or something. Sorry to those who like it, but if the start was hard for me, the dry down was to throw the bottle out the window.
Oh no, I love other scents from this brand but I can’t stand this one. I like sweeties, but this doesn’t smell like cotton candy; it smells like grape, so much so that the bottle might as well be purple. Then the candy part is that sticky sugar that smells old; I can’t explain it well, that cloying sugar that isn’t delicious or gourmand, too artificial and pungent that you want to wash it off. I love sweeties, but this smells very cheap to me, like cheap push-pop sugar, nothing delicious. After that, the worst part is I found a rotten smell, like sour. For me, it’s an outright no; it would be like a hard, rotten grape candy. Sorry, for those who like it, but if the start was hard for me, the dry-down was enough to throw the bottle out the window.
I didn’t like it just smelling it from the cap, but I trusted a TikTok saying it adapts well to the skin once dry, and it’s true. After a while, it smells rich and subtle like cotton candy. At first, it smelled excessively sweet and overwhelming grape to me, but that changes as it dries. In my opinion, it’s a body mist I use right after showering, just for staying at home or for everyday wear. It’s a good purchase to smell good on an ordinary day; it’s not bad at all, I recommend it 💗👀
When I first bought it, the spray seemed very alcoholic. Now that I’m more accustomed to it, I immediately smell cotton candy, grape, and bubblegum. It’s very sweet and synthetic, but rich. My friends have praised it and we agree it’s amazing. It costs between 6,000 and 7,000 Chilean pesos at Lider.
When I bought it, I felt the opening was very alcoholic. Now that I’ve gotten used to fragrance openings more, I can immediately smell the cotton candy, grape, and bubblegum scent. It’s a very sweet aroma; while it can feel synthetic, it’s very delicious. My friends have praised it to me and we agree it’s very delicious, besides it costs between 6,000 to 7,000 Chilean pesos at Lider.
As they say before, it doesn’t smell like cotton candy, but rather sugared grape juice. Delicious, but nothing extraordinary.
At first, it smells like very sweet and fruity grape jelly. Once it dries on my skin, it’s rich cotton candy; I love it. The problem is that it lasts very little. The plus is that it’s affordable and you can reapply it as many times as you want.
It starts with an artificial strawberry aroma, very fresh, pleasant, and sugary. It’s a nice mist that delivers on its promise. Longevity and projection are light. Once it dries down, it smells more like authentic cotton candy, but it remains fresh.
I was really surprised. I was looking for that scent and it literally smells like the cotton candy sold here. When you first spray it, you get a hint of grape with sugar, but almost instantly it becomes sugary cotton candy. It’s hard to believe something so cheap has good longevity and quality; I wear it to sleep on cold days and still smell it the next morning. That said, the projection is low.
This body mist literally smells like cotton candy; it’s not a memory, it’s the real deal. At first, from the bottle or the first few minutes, it smells sweet but generic, like grape jelly with raspberry, which didn’t convince me much. But after some time (no more than 20 minutes), the party vibe kicks in. Once at school, a kid asked me why I always smelled like cotton candy. It depends a lot on pH; on my sister it smells like a fairground, but others don’t get that note. On me, it lasted about 4 hours, but it varies by person. If you’re looking for something elegant or adult, this isn’t for you; it’s very sweet, cute, and simple fairground cotton candy, with no complexities.
Smells like grape bubblegum, not cotton candy. A friend said it smells like a kid eating candy and swallowing it whole, and since then I’ve never looked at it the same way, haha. The longevity is minimal, both the scent and the trail. But as they say, for the price, that’s what you get.
