I find this a very pleasant fragrance that inevitably reminds me of D&G’s The One Rose, an olfactory gem that’s unfortunately no longer available. It’s not very potent for daily wear, but it fits perfectly, whether day or night, at work or casually. It has a soft to moderate sillage with citrus, woody, and floral notes. The grapefruit or orange zest in the opening is very noticeable, then it fades and evolves into a delicate, floral, musky scent; the wood note is also present and not intrusive. Blumarine Eau de Parfum Intense could have better longevity, though it’s not too short. I tend to reapply because it’s very comfortable to wear—a fresh and agreeable fragrance. I’d use it more in spring or cool summer evenings. A good purchase considering its price and the good reputation of this Italian fashion house. 8.5/10.
I went along with a YouTuber’s rave review of this fragrance, but it didn’t inspire me at all. Even after emptying the entire bottle, I couldn’t smell it. I returned it. That was my debut and farewell with this brand, and I even canceled my subscription to the YouTuber. I understand some of them are sponsored, but I won’t fall for the games and lies of fragrance gurus again.
Bought it blind, hoping it smelled like Margiela’s Lipstick, but it barely reminds me of lipstick—maybe just a hint once it dries and you press your nose right against the skin. It’s pretty but very light, probably why it’s better for summer. The opening smells a bit like hairspray, which I don’t like, and it lasts only two minutes. I don’t think this is even a perfume, let alone the Intense version; it’s more of a cologne. I like the dry-down, it’s a shame it has no projection.
