At first, a brutal rubber note covered everything; I thought it was for an older gentleman and put it away. Months later, what a change! It no longer smells like rubber; it’s sweet, fruity with a subtle mossy base. Very rich.

Intense and oriental, deep and spicy. The opening smells like poison, but at 24 hours, the miracle happens: the bitterness gives way to an opulent, classic scent, true Jean Patou quality. After a year: bitterness, spices in kerosene. I’m not crazy about it. Olfactory disaster, though the box is gorgeous.

Smells like high leather boots stored for years in a damp cabinet. I can’t imagine any woman wearing this unless she doesn’t want to get close to anyone. Imagine the smell of a corpse in a small hotel; it’s disgusting. Lasts forever, sharp sillage, moderate projection. A total disaster.
