Jean-Louis Scherrer

Jean-Louis Scherrer was a French couturier who opened his own house in 1962, at 182 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré in Paris, after training at Dior and working alongside Yves Saint Laurent. The house reached haute couture and also prêt-à-porter, with notable expansion in Japan.

The name moved from fashion to perfumery as an extension of the house. Designer Parfums includes it among its own or licensed brands and works with an international distribution network. The historical catalog brings together references for women and men, with different concentrations and reissues under the name Jean-Louis Scherrer.
