The iris is very prominent and lasts a long time, though I don’t love it; if you’re an iris lover, you’ll be blown away and it will last all day. It’s like a more wearable Dior Homme with much better longevity.
It’s unusual, the opening is soft unlike others that overwhelm. You notice citrus with a sandalwood base, staying understated for the first 20 minutes. Then that sweet, aromatic sandalwood comes to the forefront, but it doesn’t stop there; by two hours it explodes into an opulent sandalwood, projecting three times more than the start. At six hours, you get used to it and it seems like a skin scent, but when you smell the air around you, its presence returns. After 15 hours, it stays on the skin. In heat, it lasts 12 hours under the sun, and on clothes, you can still detect it after washing and drying.
