  Today I’m sharing Binet Papillon, a brand that caught my attention with its unique creations, natural ingredients, and that handmade touch in every bottle. N.17 Tubéreuse Mandragore opens with a burst of super aromatic green leaves, where the fig leaves really stand out—maybe because they’re my favorite note. The dry-down is long-lasting, developing slowly and projecting strongly before blending with the neroli, the star of the heart. The tuberose is fresh, freshly cut, luminous, with a bitter edge from its youth, creating the most intense and provocative part. These white flowers are intoxicating, prickly, addictive, and sensual as they merge with your skin. Halfway through, between the neroli and ylang-ylang, vetiver appears: fresh, alive, green, slightly earthy, with citrus nuances that refresh right after all that floral power. The finish leads with ylang-ylang as the main note, a yellow flower I’m liking more and more; here it smells different, more special and appealing. It’s creamy, a bit powdery, yet still enchanting and almost aphrodisiac. The blend never loses the variety of green leaves from the start; everything is in perfect balance, and each note moves closer to or further from your nose depending on the moment. The brand surprised me with the intensity of such natural ingredients and for crafting such a different olfactory story with familiar components.
