I really need a review of this perfume yaaa
I liked this much more than its sister, Amber. Although it leans more towards a female audience, everyone has to try it because it’s a beautiful fragrance that reminds me of Desert Flower by Jesús del Pozo, but finer and more elegant. It’s intense, with light roses at first, then a light and non-invasive oud, along with raspberry and woody notes that give it an oriental vibe. It’s elegant, sensual, and dark, ideal for autumn, winter, or cool nights. It crosses the unisex line well, starting feminine and transforming into something for a modern man. It leaves a sense of magic and mysticism with great longevity and presence.
What a cool perfume! It’s another of those working rose-oud combos, but here the leather stands out and the cedar rules as it dries. It projects power, walks with its head high, and has no complexes. It settles sweetly, but without going overboard or smelling like food. It’s a woody blend of roses and cherries with touches of white flowers that don’t overshadow the rose. Later, you notice the patchouli, which then gives way to a majestic cedar that dominates the dry-down. It stays strong, green, woody, slightly dry—a realistic green embrace wrapped in oud and leather. To me, it’s a very stylish fragrance with a vintage air, unisex; it leans feminine at first and masculine at the end. I only feel the raspberry at the start, which is odd.
What a cool perfume! It’s another of those rose-oud combos, but with notable leather and dominant cedar as it dries. It projects powerfully and confidently, sweet without being cloying—a woody blend of roses and cherries with white flowers that don’t steal the spotlight. Later, patchouli appears, followed by a majestic cedar that takes over. It smells strong, green, and dry, embraced by oud and leather. To me, it’s very stylish, a bit vintage, and unisex: starts more feminine and ends up more masculine. I only notice the raspberry at the very beginning, which is a bit strange.
To start, Wood Mystique is totally unisex, moving perfectly in that zone of ambiguity. It has that mysterious Middle Eastern essence, full of charm; the Western world might find it hard to understand or wear at first, but once you cross that golden door, you’ll learn to appreciate and love it. I’d describe it as fabulous roses with violet and iris petals well intertwined, resting on a cedar trunk where leather lies, bathed in raspberry juice, patchouli leaves, and benzoin. Its longevity and sillage are out of this world; it lasts and lasts. Wood Mystique impresses because it’s capricious; on my skin, different notes stand out each time I wear it, never the same protagonists. It’s a fragrance with its own life and very willful. Sometimes it’s sweeter and resinous for me, other times more woody, and other times the rose and violet don’t let anyone else shine. There’s elegance here, something distinct for the West, strength, character, and that quite asexual tone because it fits perfectly on both men’s and women’s skin. I think it’s more appropriate for night use and cold seasons. I don’t know if it’s been discontinued, but if you can get it, it’s a gem.
To start, Wood Mystique is a unisex perfume that dances right on the line of ambiguity. It has that mysterious Middle Eastern Arab touch that might clash with the Western palate, but once you cross that golden door, you fall in love. It smells like roses with violet petals and iris resting on a cedar trunk and leather, bathed in raspberry, patchouli, and benzoin. Its longevity is insane, and on my skin, it changes every time: sometimes it’s sweet and resinous, other times more woody, and other times the rose and violet dominate everything. It’s capricious, has its own life and character, perfect for cold nights—a real gem if you can find it.
