I just tried it and it’s already on my skin. It’s decent enough, just not my style; I prefer woodier scents. It’s clean and a good everyday aroma. Mostly, since it’s floral, I only smell flowers—the peony takes all the spotlight. It’s strong and noticeable, but not annoying or intrusive. Just a more feminine scent.
It’s very similar to Shiseido Energizing but much more diluted—even more so than Paula Echevarría’s Coral, which is a low-cost version of the Shiseido one. After half an hour, you can barely tell it’s there. I don’t see it working even right out of the shower. At 44€, it’s a rip-off…
Mysteriously, it reminded me of Moschino Toy Boy.
I tried it excited about the rose and peony blend in Narciso Rodriguez’s Fleur Musc, but I didn’t like it. I think it’s how the cedar sits with that combination, plus it doesn’t last at all.
I think it’s perfect for gifting to a young girl as her first school perfume—the bottle and cap are pretty, but the scent is very generic.
