At first, the alcohol stings, but then it’s synthetic vanilla with powdered sugar and milk—very sweet with a fleeting floral touch. It smells like industrial sponge cake dust, nothing complex. It’s not the same as Lattafa’s Eclaire; it’s simpler and flatter. I wish it were denser with condensed milk nuances, but it’s not. Projection and drydown are fine, but I don’t detect the chocolate it claims to have. For the price, it’s okay, but the floral note turns me off if there are other options. Note: I’m comparing this to Lattafa’s Eclaire since I don’t own the original Bianco Latte.

I’ve never tried tres leches cake, so I can’t say if it resembles it. The scent is sweet and anise-like, as if it has anise seeds; you can detect milk and vanilla, but no chocolate. It doesn’t remind me of Bianco Latte or its inspirations; it’s heading in a different direction. It’s cozy and pleasant, not invasive; it’s sweet but doesn’t smell like food.
