Tomacco by d.grayi is a 2026 fragrance for women and men. It is built on a garden-to-soil contrast, crisp up top and darker through the drydown.
The start feels green and spice-fresh with an aromatic bite, setting up a base that turns drier, lightly sweet, mossy and woody.
The opening pairs betel leaf with tomato leaf. One brings peppery, slightly pungent spice; the other smells like crushed stem, damp and full of chlorophyll.
At the center, kaffir lime and hay take over. The lime reads as zest rather than juice, sharp and aromatic, while the hay adds a yellowed, dusty, field-like dryness.
The base rests on patchouli, tobacco and cedar moss. That is where the scent gets earthy and woody, with the cured-leaf sweetness of tobacco and the thickness of patchouli.
Overall it moves from green, herbal and aromatic into tobacco, patchouli and moss. A touch of sweetness rounds the edges without turning gourmand, and the fresh-spicy lift keeps it upright.
