My first impression was ‘summer fragrance’: seasonal fruits with an exotic floral touch. Then it shifts to something sweeter, perhaps due to the vanilla, patchouli, or jasmine (I still can’t distinguish the notes well). It’s sweet but soft, not overwhelming. I was pleasantly surprised; even though it’s not what I’d normally buy, I felt great wearing it. Its lower longevity makes it comfortable. It’s warm and playful, lifts your mood, and makes you feel sexy, like a juicy mango dripping down your hand. Although I prefer more discreet, intense, and elegant perfumes, I like stepping out of my comfort zone, feeling different, and proving that it’s not all green tea, lemon, and white flowers.
It’s much fruitier and more youthful than La nuit trésor à la folie. At first, it smells a bit musty, but once it dries down, for the price, it’s well worth it.
I haven’t tried La nuit trésor à la folie, so I’m not sure how similar they are, but I really liked this one. The longevity is good, though it doesn’t project much; it lasts about 5 or 6 hours, maybe more. I wore it to work and everyone loved it, even when they couldn’t quite smell it anymore. It’s quite suede-like but harmonizes without being heavy; it’s wearable, a bit sweet but not cloying. Perfect for spring, autumn, and winter. Update: It’s become everyone’s favorite at work. Every time I wear it, they ask if I sprayed it on myself. For the price, it’s absolutely worth it.
I think it might be the packaging, but to me it smells very tropical with lots of vanilla and fruit—super sweet. I see it as casual, and the longevity is average. Even though it’s cheap, I wouldn’t buy it again because it just isn’t my style. I’ll hold off on comparing it to ‘à la folie’.
I’m from the coast, and this fragrance has completely won me over. It transports you straight to a tropical paradise, like standing by the ocean with a piña colada or your favorite drink, thanks to its fruity and floral blend.
