  It delivers 100% on its notes: metallic rose and heavy varnish. There’s a very subtle oud in the background, but the stars are those synthetic notes from start to finish. It’s very linear with little evolution, and as it dries, the rose gives way to the varnish, sometimes unpleasantly. The performance is brutal; it lasts and projects a lot. It’s unisex thanks to the rose, but the rest makes it risky. I’m not sure if I like it, but it’s original and hard to wear. Try it if you can; it’s interesting but strange.

  Amouage never fails, and it doesn’t here either. Although it sounds like metallic and varnished rose, it doesn’t smell artificial; it’s delicious. It fits perfectly on both frantic, stressful days and quiet moments of calm. The Library collection is a literary universe of 11 fragrances, each a chapter on themes like passion, art, or chaos. Opus X is intense at first and very long-lasting, detectable even after 12 hours. It’s an experience worth trying, but don’t buy blindly: it’s not easy to wear.

  The rose gets lost among overly prominent metallic notes and varnish. They crush the initial floral opening, leaving only a sharp, synthetic accord that gives me a headache. It’s impossible to follow the evolution because the varnish dominates the entire time, ruining the balance. Only buy it if you’re looking for a pure varnish or glue scent. Perfect for the Bakalao route.
