The best summer perfume out there today. To my nose, it smells like typical yellow plum of the season—slightly tart and firm, nothing soft, with that acidic touch that I love. In color, it’s totally yellow and green, sometimes almost fluorescent. It’s fruity, acidic, juicy, refreshing, and green; it cools you down instantly, and I could even make an edible version to drink. I’ve never tried Shiso, but it’s used a lot in Japanese cuisine, said to be a mix of basil and mint. Fun fact: this house creates molecular perfumes, each centered around a specific molecule. Here it’s Glycolierral, which my favorite perfumer, Bertrand Duchaufour, works with mastery. It’s a green molecule, like ivy and lawn, with milky and warm notes. Since it’s molecular, the performance is brutal—it lasts me over 8 hours. Miau_So
