Updating my review after using up 80% of the bottle: the longevity, sillage, and projection are a disaster. It doesn’t even linger on clothes. You have to spray it 15 to 20 times just to catch a whiff. The good news is it only cost 6 euros…
I tried it in-store months ago and thought it was identical to the discontinued ‘Viaje a Ceylán’ by Adolfo Domínguez. Maybe it was the summer heat, the store atmosphere, or my nose was on vacation, but that’s how I perceived it at first. I spotted it for 6 euros during the January 2025 sales and decided to buy it. Upon smelling it again, my surprise was total, so I deleted my previous opinion. Sardegna smells 90% like Dior Sauvage EDT, and that remaining 10% spicy, woody vibe reminds me of ‘Viaje a Ceylán’. Although they won’t admit it, it smells like ambroxan. If you like Sauvage EDT, you’ll love this. It’s a pleasant men’s fragrance, perfect for heat and very versatile. Its flaw is that it lacks punch, but it’s perfect for everyday wear in places where you don’t want to draw attention and just want to please. Just be prepared to use more of it. At 6 euros, it’s a steal.
