The opening is herbal, with peonies taking center stage alongside ivy and laurel. As it dries, the herbal notes recede and the flowers take over: the peonies soften while magnolias shine above them, with ivy present throughout the journey. The dry down is the best part—fresh flowers with ivy and a creamy sandalwood that leaves a clean, soapy finish. The only flaw (common in the Bond fragrances I’ve tried) is the weak sillage; I wish it projected more. Longevity exceeds 5 hours on skin, even in high heat.
