I’ve tried many Coyotl perfumes, but Winter Rose was a pleasant surprise. It’s decidedly cold, with a very well-executed icy note that stands out from the very first moment. It reminded me of aromatic herbs like mint, eucalyptus, or rosemary, even though none of these are officially listed. The opening made me think of Torino 21, probably due to that fresh, almost mentholated feeling. Maybe it’s a blend between the icy accord, some jasmine, or a touch of basil… I’m not entirely sure, but the resemblance is there. Still, I have to say Winter Rose appealed to me more: it has a more delicate and enveloping character. I don’t clearly detect the jasmine; if it’s present, it seems to be used as a base note to add body without stealing the spotlight. The rose is fresh, clean, and very balanced. It’s linear, but that’s not a negative here: it maintains its initial scent consistently and pleasantly. And the best part: it has excellent longevity. Would I recommend it? Yes, absolutely. Even blind. I think if you’re interested in exploring a Mexican brand, and especially Coyotl—which often launches risky and sometimes challenging proposals—this fragrance represents a different side: it’s probably their most delicate creation, not as complex as others, and very easy to wear and enjoy.

I’ve tried several from Coyotl, and Winter Rose caught me off guard. It’s one of the coldest perfumes out there, yes, icy, with a glacial note that hits hard from the first spray. It brought to mind herbs like mint, eucalyptus, or rosemary, even though they aren’t officially listed. The opening reminded me of Torino 21, thanks to that freshness that’s almost mentholated; perhaps it’s a play between the icy accord, some jasmine, or a touch of basil—I’m not sure, but the similarity is there. Still, Winter Rose appealed to me more: it has a finer, more enveloping character. I don’t clearly pick up the jasmine; if it’s there, it seems to be in the background to add body without stealing the show. The rose is fresh, clean, and very well balanced. It’s linear, but here that’s not a bad thing: it keeps its initial aroma constant and pleasant. And the best part: the longevity is excellent. Would I recommend it? Yes, totally, even blind. If you want to try a Mexican brand and especially Coyotl, which tends to launch risky and difficult things, this fragrance is another side of the house: their most delicate creation, less complex than others, and very easy to wear.

  • Vibrant, sparkling, and revitalizing, with pure energy and intense cold, as if the declared notes were sitting in a freezer. An excellent creation.

  • Vibrant, sparkling, and revitalizing; it gives off energy and a cool sensation, as if the notes were straight from the freezer. An excellent creation.
