I found an excellent deal for it somewhere, but I’m a bit undecided on whether to buy it or not. Although I like it and it could well be unisex, I feel it leans more towards favoring men, especially in our hot Caribbean days. For it to favor me more, I’d have to reserve it for very fresh or cold climates, where its typical masculine musk (in this case) loses vigor… anyway, I’ll think about it a bit more. It has the ‘Pino Silvestre’ quality, and to my taste, it’s better: it’s more subtle, fresh, and simple (and if I could use it, hahaha). It really smells good, and I struggle to imagine it causing disgust to the pickiest person. Good for any occasion and time of year, requiring no extravagance or ceremony, including sports activities. Very good for outdoor activities because, besides, it infects you with a certain energy that motivates and relaxes you at the same time. It’s well-harmonized. However, I would have liked it to be more floral; an expectation I had regarding its middle notes, which has ceased upon perceiving only clove and magnolia… same ones that get wrapped by vetiver, balsam of Peru, and the aforementioned musk. Orange and ginger greet at the entrance, but then they settle into the courtyard of the petit grain of white flowers that decided not to bloom in good quantity, getting lost after leaving their sweet citrus trail.

  • It’s a variant of the original 50s Pino Silvestre, but softer since it’s a cologne; it keeps its classic essence while adding interesting floral notes like magnolia and jasmine, plus what I perceive as undeclared fruit peels: tangerine, bergamot, and grapefruit, along with dry woods, wild flowers, and moss. I love it because it smells very natural. It stands out for its aromatic depth and the nobility of its components, which are super captivating because they are natural and fresh. Ideal for daytime and less potent than its predecessor; it applies perfectly for work, whether in the office or for semi-light or heavy tasks due to its ‘sport’ character. Regarding the ‘sport’ part, I don’t think it’s suitable for actual sports; honestly, I’d choose something more energetic. Great for dinner where you don’t want to be intrusive with the food, but never for polluted environments like nightclubs where it would get lost completely. A point to clarify for all Pino Silvestre fans: they are not just pine and that’s it, but much more complex jewels, packaged in an ingenious pine-shaped bottle with an integrated atomizer, all of excellent quality with balanced notes and a fine, marked masculinity.

  • I bought it online at a good price because a previous comment said it ‘smelled very natural,’ but upon applying it, I realized it’s super synthetic; there’s nothing natural about it. However, from the very first spray, I knew I was going to love it. The first image that came to mind was: Donald Trump in a t-shirt in the garden of his mansion in the morning, with birds in the background… it smells like a magnate, relaxed, and unpretentious. Yes, for the price you pay, smelling like all that makes it a must-have! ATTENTION: IT’S NOT FOR SUMMER! Not even joking, as it has a very strong clove note. It lasted 3 hours of projection and reached 8 hours on the skin with 6 sprays; remember it’s a cologne, in the 4711 style. I regret not going for the big bottle; I’d bathe in it. Perfect for Sundays off work when you want to relax. I’M IN LOVE WITH THIS COLOGNE!

  • Here’s my second take on Pino Silvestre Cologne Sport. You can clearly hear the classic base, but this time with a spicy and citrusy kick that gives it a strong push for about an hour before settling on the skin. It lasts around four or five hours, nothing more, which is just what it needs. It’s affordable and well-made, leaving that clean, fresh feeling for that duration. As others mention, it does have a synthetic touch, but it doesn’t take away from its merit. I only notice the vetiver at the end, which gives it that signature seal. It works well for both formal and informal settings, ideal for morning or afternoon. It’s an all-rounder that does its job without asking for more. The bottle is pretty, though the old atomizer used to leave liquid in the bottle; they’ve fixed that in the new models. In summary: citrusy, spicy, cheap, and perfect for almost all seasons, leaving you with a clean, fresh trail. Cheers!
