It’s a bomb of luxurious buttery iris with brutal quality. It tastes rich and is rare—a true investment for its distinction. Ideal in cold weather because that buttery cherry note could be overwhelming in the heat. I love it, but I’d buy it in travel size; I don’t see many occasions to wear it, it’s not daily or frequent, though it is within my taste. I lost my small bottle years ago and wouldn’t invest in it today, so I’m putting it on hold for a while, but the scent is permanently etched in my olfactory memory ❤️
A very beautiful and original fusion, like few others in my collection. No typical candied cherry or liqueur notes; here, iris is the star, kissed by Moroccan cherry and cedar with a touch of subtle cinnamon. Wide sillage and lasting over 8 hours. It’s powdery floral, spicy, and slightly fruity, exuding quality. I’ve been fascinated by it; it’s unique and remarkably original, with a slight feminine lean. I wear it in fresh or very cold weather for special occasions only, nothing daily. It’s a special scent.
Yes, sir! I’ve smelled buttery, powdery iris with cacao, champagne, florals, leather, and more iris… with cherry? Moroccan Iris opens with that combo that dominates everything. The iris is powdery and the cherry is ‘candy’ style, both at 50% fighting for the spotlight. There’s a very light cinnamon base. It’s linear, well-projecting, unisex with a feminine tint. Versatility is limited; I’d wear it at night because it feels sexy, playful, and substantial enough to grab attention. But I’d use it sparingly; it’s one of those that ‘hits you in the face’ if overused. Good quality, well-made by the French house, with very interesting originality.
