  If you’re unsure between the intense and the original, let me clear it up: this smells like pistachio with candied peel, sweet, gourmand, and elegant. Creamy and sophisticated. To me, it leans more toward pistachio macarons than ice cream. Excellent fragrance; I’ve even bought a backup. The original version has a synthetic citrus note that smells like citronella. In the dry-down, it reminds me of mosquito spray and the ice cream aroma gets overshadowed. For me, there’s no comparison: this is a perfume bomb, the other… ugh.

  INCREDIBLE! Its sillage is huge; people always tell me I smell good and ask what perfume I’m wearing. I don’t know if it’s a dupe for Kayali’s pistachio, but it’s a unique, gourmand, and elegant scent. This intense version is much better than the regular one.

  I’ll start by saying I had the original version and removed it from my collection because the bergamot note was unpleasant; it smelled like citronella. On the other hand, Moonlight Whisper Intense conquered me. This intense version isn’t stronger than the original; it’s different. It lacks citrus and cardamom, making it less ‘fresh.’ Here we have bitter almond and sandalwood, which makes it deeper and woodier, ideal for autumn, winter, and night. It has good longevity, sillage, and an elegant touch, something unisex. I like the combination of nuts and vanilla; it’s not fully gourmand because there’s no sugar. It reminds me more of a pistachio cream bun than ice cream, nothing like Kayali’s Yum Gelato Pistachio. I’ve tried Affection by Kataffa and I don’t notice it as similar. I like it and recommend it, especially if you find it on sale.

  I started with the original and tossed it because that bergamot smelled like citronella to me—a total disaster. But Intense stole my heart. Just a heads-up: it’s not more potent, just different. No citrus or cardamomo here, just bitter almond and sandalwood that make it deep and woody, perfect for cold weather or night. It smells elegant, unisex, and lasts forever. It reminds me of a pistachio cream cake, not ice cream, so it has nothing to do with Kayali. I tried it with Affection de Kataffa, and it’s still not the same. If you catch it on sale, buy it; it’s amazing.

  I LOVE IT! I have a collection of 79 perfumes (a tiny number compared to many others) and this is definitely one I use the most. It reminds me of the sweet kitchen area when I was studying to be a chef: that essence of pistachio from cakes and macarons. It’s in the fragrance all the time and it’s beautiful. I feel it’s totally unisex, wonderful for anyone who wants to wear it. When I bought it, I tested the original on one arm and this on the other; the original is fresher for daily wear, while this is perfect for autumn-winter, cloudy days. It’s perfect. One of the best I’ve smelled from Zara in a long time. If you have doubts, don’t have them and buy it NOW.

  Based on the notes, I thought it would be rich, sweet, and almond-y… but it wasn’t. The opening is very strong, vanilla-forward but artificial; I didn’t like it at all. Maybe the pistachio note was the problem; it smelled like the plastic wrapper of some pastry. Once that unpleasant note fades (1-2 hours later), there’s a rich vanilla and sugar scent left, but only close to the skin. Maybe my expectations were too high.

  Ugh, I’m not sure if I love it. The opening is strong and gives a feeling of Roman soap—clean but very intense. Once it settles, you notice the pistachio, but that soap note never goes away. I expected something creamier; I bought it because a TikTok said it smelled like pistachio ice cream, but it’s very light. It doesn’t smell bad, it’s nice, but it’s not super creamy or enveloping. It seems to want to be strong but ends up weak. It would be perfect for me if it were more milky, but it works for those who don’t love sweets. I’m not smitten, but I also don’t dislike it. My mom smells cherry on it, and my sister loved it. I’ll give it more time; I think it’s one of the best from Zara, very unique thanks to the pistachio and almond.

  Update after a month: totally worth it. The opening is strong, very strong, but it settles quickly and smells unique: creamy, sparkling pistachio. I’ve loved it and it lasts forever; I can still smell it days later. It’s not for everyone, but it’s so unique I wonder why it’s not valued more. One of my cousins said it smelled great all day. It’s the best of Zara: soft, clean, slightly creamy pistachio. It doesn’t smell everywhere, which makes it special. Don’t buy it blindly: you’ll either hate it or fall in love.

  This perfume and my skin are a luxury duo; I absolutely adore it. I wear it on freezing days and have an amazing experience with Zara. Many find it artificial, but that doesn’t matter to me. I own hundreds of perfumes and can’t even keep track. There are the expensive designer and niche ones, and nowadays synthetic notes are everywhere. What truly matters is how your skin transforms the scent and how long it lasts. The rest is irrelevant when buying.
