What a relief that it lacks hype, because Hawas Ice completely outclasses it. Fresh at the start, elegant without being heavy, with a soapy and clean touch. The dry down is warm and masculine. Very versatile.

It resembles Ultra Male, but without that heavy vanilla. It begins citrusy and spicy, very different from the UM, but within five minutes it smells fresh with lavender and wood; the musk stands out at the end. It’s suitable all year, though in summer only for cool nights. Unlike the UM, which is a night fragrance, this one is worn anytime. It has a trail of 2 to 3 hours and lasts 8 to 9 hours. Ideal if you like the UM but dislike the sweet or cloying aspect; it’s about 75-80% similar. Recommended for those over 25. Price: 450 Mexican pesos ($26).
