MELANIA by Artificium is a Woody Oriental fragrance for women and men. Composed by perfumer Günter Schramm, it launched in 2026.
It pairs a bright, aromatic opening with a warm ambery and balsamic base, softened by a powdery touch.
The opening blends bergamot and lime with lavender, angelica and saffron. Citrus brings lift, lavender adds a clean herbal edge, and saffron lends a dry, spicy accent.
The heart brings together sandalwood, jasmine, rose, iris, patchouli and cinnamon. Jasmine and rose give white-floral light, iris a powdery softness, and cinnamon measured warmth over creamy sandalwood and earthy patchouli.
The base combines vanilla, musk, amber, cedar, tonka bean and Peru balsam. It is the most enveloping stage, sweet and resinous yet kept smooth by cedar structure and soft musk.
Overall it reads ambery, woody, musky and balsamic, with notes of warm spice, lavender, white florals, iris and cinnamon. The powdery facet bridges the floral center and the oriental base.
It will suit those who like unisex woody orientals that start fresh and turn warm and sweet, with clear lavender, iris and amber.
