  Damn, this is basically honey, but perfectly balanced: it’s not cloying, just aromatic. It makes you want to lean in and sniff where you applied it, creating a mini addiction. The bottle is fantastic; a great alternative if you love honey-based fragrances.

  Maldito Placer is a fragrance that revolves mainly around honey. For me, the honey is quite balanced—not sweet, but aromatic—and it makes you lean your nose toward the spots where you applied it, causing a mini addiction. The bottle looked fantastic to me; I think it’s a great alternative for those who like honey-based fragrances.

  I haven’t tried Black Afgano, but I have used Mancera’s Red Tobacco, and they don’t seem very similar to me. The latter is an intense fragrance with tobacco taking center stage and a slightly mentholated opening, quite different from Maldito Placer. This one has a softer aroma with a clearly fruity opening, green and honeyed notes, which quickly give way to the base notes, leaving a short but very pleasant trail. I think it’s a perfume for relaxed or informal occasions and very unisex. I’m testing it during summer here in Chile, and it lasts about 4 hours on my skin, which is notoriously bad at holding scents. On the plus side, so far it doesn’t remind me of anything I’ve smelled before.

  Excellent perfume where the honey really shines, with tobacco in the base and pineapple opening. The trail is powerful; it’s an Eau de Parfum. I tested it in summer, but it’s better for fall and ideally winter nights. It has sweet, amber, and tobacco notes. Longevity is 6 to 8 hours. In conclusion, it’s an excellent perfume that shows its full potential in cold environments, plus it’s unisex.

  Excellent perfume, where honey, tobacco as a base note, and pineapple as a top note really stand out. The trail is that of an Eau de Parfum, and when I tested it, it was in summer. Clearly, it’s meant for fall and ideally winter, and for nighttime wear. It has sweet, amber, and tobacco accords. Its standout feature is its durability, lasting about 6 to 8 hours. In conclusion, it’s an excellent perfume that reaches its full potential in cold environments, and it’s definitely unisex.

  It’s one of those addictive perfumes! A tropical, honeyed, and aromatic fruit scent with a clean aspect and a tobacco-musk base (in my judgment, amber). The base is creamy, amber, and buttery, which is a distinctive note of the house in their compositions, featuring classic powdery musk and a tranquil sweetness of vanilla with tobacco. Totally genderless, with good projection and longevity.

  This aroma is very characteristic of Maldito Placer; it’s not easy to get used to, especially the marijuana note paired with a sweet honey emulsion of banana and pineapple. It becomes more bearable with daily wear. Eventually, it becomes familiar and the marijuana note fades into the background. What’s attractive is the olfactory pyramid, and what’s particular is the scent itself. Totally unisex in my opinion. I recommend it for personal home use and take precautions with sprays—it projects more than it diffuses, but it’s still a beast of a fragrance.

  It’s a creamy, fruity, one-of-a-kind scent. Not a love at first sniff, but the more time passes, the more I like it. In my opinion, it’s a masculine unisex fragrance, and the quality is fantastic without a doubt, much better than several commercial brands that are pure marketing. Presentation: 10/10. Scent: 8.5/10. Sillage: 8.0/10. Longevity: 8.0/10.

  This perfume is crazy. It opens loud, like a slap, with an aroma most people don’t like, like cannabis mixed with something acidic fruit, I think lychee. After a few seconds, it turns into cloyingly sweet, intense fruit, and by half an hour, it’s a magical floral, addictive scent. I can’t stop smelling myself. It’s not for blind buys, but it’s unique.
