Lily Essence by O Boticário is an oriental floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2006, this composition was created by Verônica Casanova and Yves Cassar. The olfactory pyramid unfolds with top notes of pink pepper, peach, blackcurrant, pear, and mandarin; a delicate floral heart featuring lily, jasmine, iris, gardenia, narcissus, rose, violet, and osmanthus; and a warm, woody base blending vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk, oakmoss, patchouli, and vetiver.

It’s a precious jewel with top-notch quality. It lasts all day on the skin, leaves a trail without being overwhelming. Works great at any time of day or season. Perfect as my signature scent. Very feminine; I see it ideal with pretty dresses and bright colors, like for daytime weddings, baptisms, or first communions, or for an important breakfast date 😉 Attractive to men, women, kids, and even grandmas… whether it’s that first date with your partner or meeting their family, it’s a great choice! The best part is that I absolutely love it and it makes me shine. In the notes, I detect lily, then gardenia, osmanthus (I love it), iris, jasmine, patchouli, moss, vanilla, and a sweet pear that isn’t cloying. Plus, O’Boticario gifted me two atomizers: the classic one, a regular one, and a cute one with a knob (all adjustable). In short, I’m happy and I recommend it 100%.

Super feminine scent that envelops you and evolves through every stage of wear. Very balanced, with no single note overpowering the others. Upon application, a soft musk with fruity undertones; although it lists apricot, peach, and pear, I smell it all as plum. A hint of pepper. The heart features sandalwood and woods, but everything remains very soft. I applied it to my arm and noticed a beautiful sillage in motion. Definitely a favorite of mine.
