The idea centers on writing as texture: dry paper and cotton flower softened by butter and orris root, with a roasted, fruity core underneath.
The opening brings together butter, orris root, paper and cotton flower. It feels powdery and lightly creamy, like iris dust settled on a dry sheet.
The heart adds coffee, raspberry and steam accord. Coffee gives a roasted edge, raspberry brings a juicy fruity lift, and the steam note adds sheer, damp air that keeps things open.
The base blends metallic notes with Habanolide®, Galaxolide, ambroxan, vanillin, oak and coumarin. It is musky and woody, clean on top and gently sweet underneath.
Overall the scent reads woody, musky and powdery, with sweet, fruity, iris and coffee facets, plus metallic, amber and warm spicy highlights.
The wear moves from powdery-cream to roasted and then to a smooth, enveloping drydown, with the paper memory running through each stage.
