  Without a doubt, my favorite fragrance; it’s the number one pick on my list. The sillage and longevity are spectacular, and everyone around me loves it; there isn’t a single person who doesn’t compliment me when they smell it.

  Imagination is the most evolved way of thinking we possess: it allows us to extend our consciousness beyond the confines of reason, diving into the depths of thought, understanding things that would otherwise be impossible, seeing ourselves in a new light, and reawakening forgotten faculties. Fornasetti’s creation reveals itself as a woody, musky fragrance with a very elegant character, an almost perfect fusion of the contemporary and the ancient, a long path toward high class. I feel it, but the experience is getting more complex with every sniff. I can’t help it. It’s truly magnificent; I’m absorbed, eyes closed, savoring the emotion this perfume brings: warm, herbaceous vanilla with finely balanced supporting notes. I wouldn’t have believed it possible from a brand practically unknown in the perfume world. I don’t detect the oud, but the overall quality is extremely high and sophisticated. For hours, the vanilla emerges from its woody embrace, captivating all the senses. The cedar and wood tones soften the overall sweetness, so don’t worry, it never becomes cloying before revealing the amber base along with musky nuances. Sandalwood provides a comforting warmth, soft as velvet, while the musk seduces and seduces. It’s subtle and infinitely deep, silently, gently, and seductively settling on the skin and merging with it. It blends with you like a shadow. It can be an innocent caress or the sin itself. What Paolo Terenzi has achieved with Immaginazione is difficult to put into words. He has captured an instinct, almost perfectly, in a fragrance. Passionate and seductive suggestion, intimacy, and a pulsating, infinite warmth emanate from this perfume, with a soft, herbaceous lavender that adds an almost ethereal lightness and freshness. Everything finally rests on a dark, earthy, and slightly sweet bed of patchouli and moss. Nothing to say: with this perfume, you find what you’re looking for… one way or another. I definitely recommend trying it. Unfortunately, the sky-high price will prevent this true fragrance chameleon, where at one moment you detect an oriental scent dominated by musk and vanilla, while the next it reveals itself as almost a classic fougère, with herbaceous lavender notes in the top and heart, and a somewhat animalic, powdery base, from achieving the success it deserves.
