Galleria G.494 Homme by Villa Erbatium is an oriental woody fragrance created for men and women. This creation, launched in 2024, features the olfactory signature of Ha Minseo Caterina. It’s a distinctly masculine fragrance, featuring prominent camphor notes blended with pine, hinoki, and eucalyptus, softened by a citrus touch and grounded by a mossy, woody base with a subtle leather hint. It has character, yet evolves into perfect balance—like an impulsive person who grows wise over time. It’s an all-rounder for any season, ideal for moderate temperatures. Performance is average, which fits its South Korean origins: elegant and restrained, designed to please without overpowering. It reminds me of Memo’s Russian Leather but without the spice and harsh leather; in Chile, it echoes Pino Silvestre or Brut, yet isn’t as clean. The hinoki doesn’t smell like mint; instead, it offers a fresh, pleasant herbal note that makes it unique. Highly recommended. Rating: 9/10 Tested on official sample.
