Frost Ice goes the aquatic Hawas Ice/Invictus route, but lighter, soapier, and with a fairly pronounced watermelon. It’s not a complex fragrance and doesn’t try to be. It’s fresh, clean, fruity, and easy to wear. To my mind, it’s 100% masculine; it’s not a feminine perfume, even though it’s listed that way in some places. The opening has watermelon, an aquatic side, and a very clean feel. After a few minutes it settles and leaves a fruity, musky, and somewhat creamy blend, with that fresh masculine vibe that works very well in heat. On skin it comes across as clearly masculine or, at the very least, unisex leaning masculine. It has that sporty, fresh, modern profile that’s perfect for summer, the gym, daily wear, or after a shower. Performance is decent. It doesn’t fill a room or compete with Hawas Ice in projection, but it delivers well for the price and for the type of scent. Maybe it even beats Hawas in quality.
