Back in late 2007 or 2008, my brother brought Armani Attitude home, and that was my awakening to the world of perfumes. I’d worn scents before, but this was the first one that truly obsessed me and made me realize perfume isn’t just about smelling good—it’s about enjoying your own scent. When it was discontinued, I missed it terribly for years. Recently, with so many clones on the market, I tried a few options, and this one from Alexandria is practically identical to the original. If I had an old sample to compare, I’d say it’s 99% the same; I can’t quite tell what’s missing or added, though maybe it’s just nostalgia. In my memory, the original Attitude had incredible projection and longevity. It could be olfactory fatigue, but I feel the Egyptian Attitude version lasts about 2 to 3 noticeable hours, even though others say they can still smell it after 4 or 5, so I’m not entirely sure.
