I’m not an expert in fragrances or scent notes, but Phlur’s Caramel Skin is definitely not a blind buy. I now feel like I wasted my money; it’s too heavy and smells like burnt caramel, nothing pleasant. It doesn’t evolve over time, staying the same from start to finish. Imagine someone making caramel on the stove and spilling it near the flame; that burnt caramel emits an almost toxic smell, just like this mist. It has great longevity and projection, which is a bad thing for me. I can’t use it to scent bedding or the room, as I tried, and the smell is maddening.
