From bitter to sweet: a classic evolves through three phases with a modern concept. It starts dry with thyme and rhubarb blended with belladonna, giving a bitter, almost smoky touch with hints of tobacco and leather. Then it shifts to something fruity-floral thanks to the berries and a carnation that smells almost like rose, resulting in a calm and soft vibe. As it develops, vetiver of good wood appears along with licorice, and at the end it sweetens with a hidden vanilla and a musky base with fine cherry, without falling into gourmand territory. I really liked the concept; it’s original and intelligent. The longevity is good and the projection is soft (for me, could be better), making it ideal for daytime use and any season. Rating: 8
