  I’ve been hunting for a perfume that smells like milk for a while now, haha! I’ve already tried several excellent ones that have become my favorites, and I think I’ve finally found the one. I’ll share the full story later… for now, it’s Au Lait. I have an oil sample and I must admit, at first I didn’t like it because of that ‘oily’ scent. This happens with other indie oils, but never with any Al-Rehab. Fortunately, that smell fades and the magic begins: an intense, creamy milk scent with sugar, almost buttery. Like with others, it makes a huge difference where I apply it. My favorite spot is my wrist, where it smells like milk, vanilla, and caramelized sugar. On my elbow, it’s more intense and slightly acidic, but nothing unpleasant. Out of everything I’ve tried, Au Lait comes closest to representing the actual smell of milk; it doesn’t smell synthetic at all, the aroma is very real. It’s a more personal fragrance, doesn’t project much, and doesn’t last long on the skin, but it’s addictive, comforting, and I find it great for before bed, especially in winter.
