  1. CheriDemeter

Smells almost identical to Nina Ricci’s L’extase Rose Absolue: that natural, intense Taif rose with a sweet, pleasant opening, just slightly spicier. The big difference is this scent stays true to itself for much longer, avoiding that caramelized vanilla dry-down of L’extase. Absolute Oriental is less potent and has weaker projection, which isn’t bad—it’s just a matter of preference; this one clings to the skin more but lasts for many hours, easily 8-10. It’s very rich and I think it’s easily unisex, not because it’s not feminine, but because it would smell amazing on a man too. Ideal for temperate or cold climates; I haven’t used it in heat yet, but I think it could be overwhelming.
