Nuria Du Chêne de Vére was born on February 8, 1993. In 2015, after specializing in classic studies at the Milan institute, she obtained her university degree in Media Language, Communication and Advertising at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy of the UCSC. Her deep passion for perfumery, together with her passion for business communication, found its natural direction as she attended, throughout 2017, the prestigious Grasse Institute of Perfumery.

Since January 2018, Nuria has joined the team of perfumers at Moellhausen, the historic Italian company that operates in the fragrances and flavors industry and traditionally is guided by the commitment to meet and exceed the current standards of the sector through the constant pursuit of excellence, continuous investment in the highest technological innovation, and careful selection of the best talents. At Moellhausen, Nuria takes the opportunity to continue strengthening and evolving her expertise and refining her sensibility, while also making a valuable contribution by combining her rational and artistic facets and her enthusiasm for doing exactly what she had always dreamed of.

With a cosmopolitan spirit, she draws great personal enrichment from her Italian and Spanish origins (Italian, Spanish, and Catalan are her mother tongues, and Nuria speaks English perfectly). She deeply enjoys nature and loves traveling; these are her main sources of inspiration when creating new fragrances. The increasingly close bond between fashion and perfumes is her innate dimension: Nuria creates distinctive “olfactory forms” for fashion brands with the aim of coherently representing the very soul of the brand, of making people dream and, at the same time, making them feel safe and proud of themselves. In her opinion, fragrance not only represents one of the most effective communication tools, but it is also “the most powerful medium for connecting with the heart of people”.

If connecting effectively with others’ authenticity defines the starting point of a good communicator, it is also the destination of a talented perfumer like Nuria Du Chêne de Vére, who feels fulfilled instinctively and imaginatively by giving “voice and nose” to what she loves most.
