Perfumes de Jeanne-Marie Faugier

Jeanne-Marie Faugier is a senior perfumer who currently works at Firmenich, a leading company in the fragrance industry. Born and raised in Paris, France, she developed a love for science and chemistry at an early age. She pursued her studies in these fields and later entered the Roure perfumery school in 1986, where she began her journey in fragrance creation and perfumery.

After completing her training, Jeanne-Marie spent 13 years at Givaudan, a Swiss manufacturer of flavors, fragrances, and active cosmetic ingredients. During her time there, she worked in different places such as Grasse, Geneva, and Paris, where she specialized in developing new molecules for fine perfumery and personal care products. Her work at Givaudan helped her establish a solid foundation in the fragrance industry.

Later, Jeanne-Marie moved on to work for other companies such as Colgate-Palmolive, TechnicoFlor, Aromatic Flavours & Fragrances, and Symrise, where she continued honing her skills in creating consumer fragrances and fine perfumery. With more than 25 years of experience in fragrance creation and perfumery, Jeanne-Marie has become an expert in the industry.

Despite her extensive experience, Jeanne-Marie continues to find inspiration in the art of perfumery. She loves the act of working with ingredients to create unique formulas that bring pleasure and well-being to customers. She currently works closely with the entire team of perfumers in Paris at Firmenich for numerous key brands. Jeanne-Marie’s dedication and passion for her craft have made her a valuable asset to the fragrance industry.
